Our client is a well-established, family-owned environmental services company seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead daily waste hauling operations throughout the Richmond Metro Area. Supervise daily residential and commercial waste hauling operations.
Lead, coach, and develop drivers and frontline employees.
Monitor route performance, productivity, safety, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to maximize fleet uptime and minimize downtime.
Resolve operational issues while maintaining efficient daily operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
2+ years of operations leadership experience within the waste hauling or environmental services industry is required.
Experience supervising drivers, routes, and daily collection operations.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations, fleet operations, routing, and safety compliance.
Proven leadership experience coaching and developing frontline employees.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational reporting.
