Tax Manager - High Net Worth

Location: Atlanta, GA

Overview

A fast-growing independent CPA firm with a specialized personal financial services / high-net-worth tax practice is seeking a Tax Manager in Atlanta. You will help drive strategy, manage engagements and client communications, and mentor and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized tax planning and compliance services aimed at building long-term wealth
• Oversee the preparation and review of complex returns for individuals, trusts and related entities, ensuring federal, state and local compliance
• Help develop efficient workflows and leverage tax software and automation tools
• Stay current on evolving tax laws affecting high-net-worth clients
• Mentor and coach team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, Master's in Taxation, CFP or JD highly preferred
• Minimum 3+ years in tax compliance and planning focused on high-net-worth individuals or similar clients
• Deep knowledge of income, estate, gift and investment taxation
• Entrepreneurial mindset to help build and grow the practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
