Director of Nursing, Skilled Nursing Facility

One of our top clients, a respected skilled nursing facility in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead its nursing department. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader who drives quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a positive culture for staff and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all nursing services, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care
• Lead, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and lead survey readiness
• Develop and enforce nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and the nursing budget
• Partner with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team on care plans and outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant DON experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, MDS, and the survey process
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• BSN preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
