Audit Senior

Location: Atlanta, GA

Overview

a long-established, nationally ranked regional CPA firm in the Southeast is seeking an Audit Senior to lead engagements for private and closely held companies.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits for private and closely held companies
• Manage multiple client engagements and lead teams of two to five
• Deliver engagements ready for Manager/Partner review on time and within budget
• Communicate financial statement results clearly to clients
• Develop and mentor interns and staff through delegation and feedback
• Build presentation skills and support firm growth and recruiting activities
• Travel to client sites as needed

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Accounting
• Public accounting audit experience
• Solid understanding of GAAS and GAAP
• Ability to manage multiple engagements throughout the year
• Willingness to travel; occasional weekend work
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
