About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with hands-on Swiss machining and Vertical Lathe experience to join a growing manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machines and Vertical Lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
- Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality
- Perform tool changes and basic tooling adjustments
- Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain tight tolerances and consistent production quality
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Strong experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or similar precision machining equipment.
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
- Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Ability to make machine offsets and program adjustments.
- CNC programming experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
