Job Description

Build book-of-business for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager role with $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.

What you will own

• Expand steel erection market share with owners and general contractors across the Midwest
• Drive pursuit excellence on large-tonnage structural packages of 5,000+ tons
• Keep competitor, bid, and pipeline intelligence current and actionable
• Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector at client and industry touchpoints
• Travel Midwest locations as required to progress pursuits

Skills and experience

• Experience in BD or sales for steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction firms
• Ability to pursue and land large Midwest tonnage projects
• general contractor, fabricator, or owner network preferred
• Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest
• Clear communication plus a documented history of converting opportunities
