Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT to join our mental health team in Iowa. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health and behavioral challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support clients' well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, to determine appropriate treatment approaches.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, client needs, and therapeutic goals.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
  • Crisis Intervention: Assess and manage crisis situations, providing immediate support and referrals when necessary.
  • Education & Prevention: Conduct psychoeducational sessions and support groups to promote mental health awareness.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active Iowa licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with trauma, substance use disorders, or co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Training in EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT, or other specialized therapies.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
