Overview
We are seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Land Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to projects that shape growing communities. This role offers mentorship, career development, and a clear path toward PE licensure and future leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design of land development projects from concept through construction
Prepare site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans
Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Prepare reports, specifications, and permit submittals
Support project scheduling, budgets, and client coordination
Ensure quality and accuracy in design documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months
0–4 years of civil engineering or land development experience
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
Strong communication, attention to detail, and desire to obtain PE licensure
