Overview

We are seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Land Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to projects that shape growing communities. This role offers mentorship, career development, and a clear path toward PE licensure and future leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of land development projects from concept through construction

• Prepare site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans

• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Prepare reports, specifications, and permit submittals

• Support project scheduling, budgets, and client coordination

• Ensure quality and accuracy in design documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months

• 0–4 years of civil engineering or land development experience

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software

• Strong communication, attention to detail, and desire to obtain PE licensure
