Job Description

A community bank in Oskaloosa is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its lending team across Mahaska County and southeast Iowa. You'll work closely with loan officers on underwriting and risk ratings, with a path toward lending or senior credit.

Responsibilities:

• Spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns for borrowers
• Risk-rate new loan requests and existing credit lines
• Write clear credit presentations for lenders and loan committee
• Support month-end, regulatory, and portfolio reporting
• Help keep loan files in line with policy and exam requirements
• Assist in training newer team members

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Finance or Accounting
• One or more years of bank credit analysis preferred
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and financial analysis
• Builds good working relationships with loan officers
• Wants to grow into lending or credit leadership
