Job Description

A respected and well-supported ag retail organization is seeking a Sales Agronomist to serve growers in the Eastern Nebraska region. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with producers while delivering full-acre solutions that drive yield and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage tailored crop plans including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection strategies

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to growers by delivering timely agronomic insights and recommendations

  • Position proprietary and value-added products within comprehensive crop management programs

  • Introduce financing options when applicable to support grower success

  • Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality with customer information

  • Ensure daily activities are carried out safely and effectively

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agronomy sales or crop advising

  • Strong working knowledge of regional cropping systems and input products

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
