A growing organization in the waste and recycling industry is hiring Diesel Mechanics at multiple experience levels, including Entry-Level Diesel Mechanics, Experienced Diesel Mechanics, and Lead Diesel Mechanics.

Open Positions
Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic
- Ideal for candidates beginning their diesel mechanic career
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
- Training and development opportunities available
- Previous automotive, equipment, military, vocational school, or mechanical experience is a plus
Diesel Mechanic
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrains
- Minimize fleet downtime through timely and accurate repairs
Lead Diesel Mechanic
- Lead daily maintenance and repair activities
- Provide technical guidance to other mechanics
- Help prioritize repairs and manage equipment downtime
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Coordinate with fleet and operations leadership
- Assist with maintaining a safe and efficient shop environment
Equipment
Mechanics may work on:
- Rear-load, front-load, and side-load refuse trucks
- Roll-off and hook-lift trucks
- Dump trucks
- Recycling equipment
- Heavy-duty vocational trucks
- Trailers and related fleet equipment
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with diesel engines/heavy-duty equipment preferred for experienced roles
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems
- Reliable and safety-focused work ethic
- Valid driver's license
- CDL and ASE certifications are a plus
- Stable employment history preferred

Compensation
