Lead Diesel Mechanic
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)

Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension systems, clutches, hydraulics, steering, fuel, electrical, HVAC, and air brake systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and accurately diagnose driver complaints
- Identify root causes of part and component failures
- Perform inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
- Maintain and properly use tools and diagnostic equipment
- Complete all assigned work safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
- Maintain Minnesota Inspection Certification or obtain certification after hire
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of diesel engine repair experience
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical or related experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must have the necessary hand tools to perform the job
