A local bank in Chariton is confidentially seeking a Branch Manager to lead its team and serve customers across Lucas County and south central Iowa. The job combines staff leadership, deposit and loan growth, and community presence.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, coach, and lead a friendly branch team
• Build deposits and loans through outreach and customer referrals
• Originate consumer loans and small business credit
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, security, and compliance
• Keep service quality high for every customer
• Represent the bank at local events and civic groups

Qualifications:

• 3+ years working in community banking
• Background in supervision or lending
• Working knowledge of branch operations and banking regulations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-first mindset
• Results-focused and well organized
