Job Description

A local community bank is hiring an Ag Lender to work with farm and ag customers across Delaware and Clayton Counties. You'll handle the full cycle, from prospecting and underwriting to closing and servicing.

Responsibilities:

• Call on area farmers and ag businesses to grow a quality loan portfolio
• Review financial statements and repayment capacity to support sound credit decisions
• Structure operating, machinery, equipment and real estate loans
• Complete farm visits, inspections and yearly renewals
• Introduce deposit and other bank services to producers
• Keep up with commodity prices, input costs and local ag conditions

Qualifications:

• Degree in Agriculture, Ag Economics or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of Ag lending or Ag credit analysis experience
• Exposure to FSA loan programs is helpful
• Farm or ag background strongly preferred
• Clear communicator who follows through

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000, plus bonus.
