A community bank in Oelwein is confidentially hiring a Commercial Lender to build and manage business relationships across Fayette County and northeast Iowa. The role focuses on new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial loans.

Responsibilities:

• Identify client needs and recommend the right credit and deposit solutions
• Grow a portfolio of local businesses and real estate investors
• Analyze creditworthiness and risk on new and existing loans
• Prepare loan memos, proposals, and supporting documents
• Open new accounts and cross-sell treasury services
• Meet production and relationship growth goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Commercial lending or credit experience
• Comfortable presenting proposals to business owners
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized and able to manage several deals at once
