A well-established meat processing manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead third shift operations and drive equipment reliability, safety, and team performance. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company known for promoting from within and investing in its people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support maintenance technicians on 3rd shift, ensuring efficient and safe operations
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and automated equipment
- Prioritize and assign work orders to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Train and develop team members, fostering a strong, accountable culture
- Partner with production leadership to address maintenance needs and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience (preferred focus)
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PSM requirements and safety protocols
- Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus
- Experience in food or meat processing environments is preferred
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, overnight production setting
