Job Description

A community bank in Waukon is confidentially seeking a Commercial Lender to grow business relationships across Allamakee County and northeast Iowa. You'll bring in new clients, underwrite and structure credit, close loans, and care for a commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Call on local business owners and build a pipeline of new clients
• Understand each client's plans and suggest the right loan and deposit products
• Dig into business financials to gauge credit strength
• Draft loan write-ups and carry documents through closing
• Open operating accounts and introduce treasury management services
• Hit yearly growth targets while keeping credit quality sound

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting is a plus
• Hands-on commercial lending or business banking background
• Confident communicating and presenting to business owners
• Background writing loan proposals and underwriting credit
• Organized and able to juggle several deals at once
