Family Law Attorney – Established Idaho Firm

A respected, full-service Idaho law firm is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join their team in a full-time, in-office capacity. This firm is known for providing compassionate and high-level representation in domestic relations matters and is looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator who enjoys the complexities of family law and is looking for a firm that offers long-term stability and professional support.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, guiding clients through some of the most significant transitions of their lives. You will have full responsibility for your cases while collaborating with a team of experienced legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Relations: Handle all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, support, property division, and guardianship.

  • Advocacy: Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials throughout Idaho.

  • Drafting: Prepare high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.

  • Client Relations: Provide direct, empathetic, and strategic counsel to clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practicing family law.

  • Bonus: A background or experience in Criminal Law is highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset.

  • Licensure: Must be a member of the Idaho State Bar in good standing.

  • Skills: Strong courtroom presence, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage high-conflict situations with professionalism.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $97,000 – $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

  • Position Type: Full-time, In-Office.
