We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with hands-on Swiss machining and Vertical Lathe experience to join a growing manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machines and Vertical Lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
- Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality
- Perform tool changes and basic tooling adjustments
- Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain tight tolerances and consistent production quality
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist
- Hands-on experience with CNC Swiss machines
- Experience operating and setting up Vertical Lathes
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Experience making offsets and adjustments at the machine
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Manufacturing or machining experience in a precision environment preferred
