Job Description

A confidential, established precision gear manufacturer is seeking experienced Gear Cutters, Gear Hobbing Operators, Gear Shaper Operators, and CNC Gear Machinists to produce large, precision industrial gears. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual gear cutting equipment.
• Manufacture precision spur, helical, bevel, worm gears, and splines.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of gear manufacturing or gear machining experience.
• Experience operating gear hobbing, gear shaping, or gear cutting machines.
• Strong setup and changeover experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
