Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion, with a focus on healthcare environments. This role is ideal for someone who can balance both estimating and project execution while working on hospitals, labs, and other mission-critical facilities. Design-build experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through close-out
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Prepare and review labor, material, and cost estimates, budgets, and proposals
- Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and field staff
- Oversee project schedules, costs, and overall performance
- Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Complete project close-out documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management, estimating, or a combination role
- Required experience working on healthcare projects (hospitals, labs, or similar environments)
- Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and/or plumbing systems
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or HS Diploma/GED with relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
