Assistant Project Manager

A growing general contractor in the Chicago area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support industrial and commercial construction projects.

This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a collaborative company that values mentorship and internal advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with daily project coordination
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractor communication and scheduling updates
• Track project costs and assist with change orders
• Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Support project closeout and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience preferred
• Commercial or industrial construction experience is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
