Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney

We are looking to add a Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney to our growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex litigation, wants meaningful responsibility early in their career, and is looking to continue developing as a trial lawyer.

Our practice represents individuals and families in serious medical malpractice and catastrophic injury matters. You'll work alongside experienced litigators while taking an active role in every stage of the litigation process—from initial case evaluation through trial or resolution.

What You'll Do

You'll work closely with senior attorneys while managing your own responsibilities throughout the life of each case, including:

• Reviewing medical records and evaluating potential claims
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Conducting legal research and developing case strategy
• Taking and defending depositions
• Working with medical experts throughout the litigation process
• Attending court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Assisting with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
• Building strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and advocacy

What I'm Looking For

• Active Illinois Bar license
• 2+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience
• Plaintiff or defense medical malpractice experience will be considered
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• A motivated attorney who enjoys litigation and is eager to continue developing professionally
