A respected engineering consulting firm is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join its growing team in the Greater Chicago market.

What You’ll Do
- Lead structural engineering projects from design through delivery.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and quality control.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Assist with technical decisions and project strategy.
- Build strong client relationships through communication and project execution.
- Work alongside senior engineers and leadership to grow your career.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- EIT required.
- PE preferred; SE a plus.
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience with structural analysis, design, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of structural materials including:
- Steel
- Concrete
- Wood
- Masonry
- Understanding of seismic design and lateral systems.
- Experience with structural design software:
- ETABS
- RISA
- RAM
- Enercalc
- Revit
- Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000–$115,000 (based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
