MAINTENANCE PLANNER

Freeport Area | Food Manufacturing

GPAC has partnered with a growing food manufacturing company in the Freeport area that is looking to add a Maintenance Planner to their maintenance leadership team.

This is a highly visible role responsible for coordinating maintenance planning, scheduling, PM systems, work orders, inventory management, and maintenance workflow efficiency across the facility.

The company is seeking someone who can help improve uptime, reduce downtime, support preventive maintenance initiatives, and serve as a key communication point between maintenance, operations, vendors, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate maintenance work orders and scheduling activities
  • Develop daily and weekly maintenance schedules
  • Support PM/PdM programs and maintenance planning initiatives
  • Maintain parts inventory and assist with purchasing coordination
  • Work within CMMS/work order systems
  • Support maintenance backlog management and downtime reduction
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians, vendors, and operations teams
  • Assist with maintenance reporting, documentation, and equipment history
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of maintenance planning, maintenance supervision, or related maintenance experience within manufacturing
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of PM systems and maintenance scheduling
  • Experience with CMMS/work order systems
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and maintenance leadership

Compensation & Benefits:
