A well-established community bank in the Kansas City metro is adding an experienced Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to its commercial lending group. You'll keep commercial loans moving smoothly from approval through closing and servicing, working side by side with lenders and credit staff. The search is confidential.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review commercial loan documents before closing, and coordinate closings with title companies, attorneys and borrowers.
- Track and perfect collateral, including UCC filings, titles, insurance and releases, and clear exceptions quickly.
- Process loan fundings, advances, payments and construction draws accurately.
- Keep complete, audit-ready loan files and verify that loan data is entered correctly in the bank's systems.
- Prepare payoffs, lien releases and borrower correspondence.
- Serve as a go-to resource for lenders and commercial clients.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial loan operations, loan administration or commercial lending support. This is required.
- Hands-on knowledge of C&I and commercial real estate loan documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
- Comfort with loan systems (LaserPro) and Microsoft Office.
- This is an on-site role, working in person at the Kansas City-area office.
