Mechanical Construction Purchasing Agent
Full-Time 💰 $70,000 to $90,000 per year
Overview
We’re hiring a Purchasing Agent to manage material and equipment procurement. Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years of purchasing or accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. Construction experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Process material and equipment purchase orders daily
Select reliable, cost-effective suppliers
Enter and file purchase orders in Vista by Viewpoint
Work with vendors to confirm pricing and delivery
Reconcile and file vendor order acknowledgements
Collaborate with Project Managers for purchase details
Obtain quotes from multiple vendors as needed
Coordinate material deliveries with vendors and warehouse staff
Qualifications
1–3+ years purchasing experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
