Job Description

Lead quality for a structural steel fabrication shop serving Newport, KY. As Quality Control Manager, you'll keep welds, docs, and certifications tight across every job.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with production, project managers, steel erectors, and third-party inspectors
• Run inspection plans, documentation, and NCR/corrective action
• Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, AISC certification, and project specs
• Perform and oversee weld inspection and NDT

Must-haves:

• CWI certification
• 8+ years in steel fabrication QC
• UT Level II preferred
