We are conducting a confidential search for a Quality Assurance Manager with a well-established food manufacturing company seeking a strong leader to oversee and improve food safety and quality programs within a fast-paced production environment. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee food safety and quality assurance initiatives across production, raw materials, packaging, distribution, and sanitation while working closely with operations and plant leadership to ensure compliance with company, customer, USDA, and FDA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage QA and food safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs, USDA, and FDA standards
  • Participate in customer, regulatory, and SQF audits
  • Conduct inspections, validations, and pre-shipment reviews
  • Lead corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner closely with operations, sanitation, and plant leadership teams
  • Monitor product specifications, quality metrics, temperatures, and weights
  • Drive and strengthen food safety and quality culture throughout the facility

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA experience within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs, and food safety systems
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • SQF and HACCP certifications preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills
