Commercial ACT Estimator, Brockton, MA

GPAC is recruiting, on a confidential basis, for a well-established commercial interiors subcontractor serving the South Shore and Greater Boston area. Our client specializes in acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) and specialty ceilings and is adding a Commercial ACT Estimator to its preconstruction team.

What you'll do

• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare estimates for ACT/acoustical ceilings, specialty ceilings, and related interiors scopes
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Solicit bids and pricing from suppliers and vendors
• Prepare scope letters and clarifications
• Lead bid-day work and submit competitive proposals
• Hand awarded projects off to project managers

What you bring

• 3+ years of commercial ACT/ceilings or interiors estimating experience
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff
• Knowledge of Armstrong, USG, and Rockfon ceiling systems
• OSHA 30 is a plus
