Job Description

A well-regarded boutique employment law firm south of Boston is growing and looking for a full-time Employment Attorney. You'd represent both employees and employers, and the role is mostly remote.

What you'll do

• Counsel employers on discipline, terminations, and personnel matters, and advise employees on their options, including non-competes
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, severance agreements, and enhanced executive severance packages, including equity and stock option vesting issues
• Write and negotiate pre-litigation demand letters on behalf of employees
• Handle state and federal employment litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial when needed

What you bring

• JD and an active Massachusetts bar license
• Substantial experience on both the employee and employer side
• Deep, hands-on experience with employment and severance agreements, not just occasional exposure
• Litigation experience in state and federal court
