Job Description

A well-established, family-owned food manufacturer with over 60 years of success is seeking a Production Manager to lead operations at their Medford-area facility. Known for high-quality, handcrafted products and a strong reputation in the market, the company is experiencing continued growth and expansion.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role with direct visibility to the CEO and the opportunity to help scale the operation from a single-shift to a two-shift environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily production operations across a team of 80–100 employees
• Build and implement production planning and scheduling processes
• Drive efficiency, throughput, and cost improvements
• Play a key role in scaling operations (1 shift → 2 shifts)
• Monitor KPIs including labor efficiency, yield, and downtime
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
• Ensure compliance with USDA and food safety regulations
• Develop, coach, and lead supervisors and production staff
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of production or operations leadership experience
• Background in food manufacturing (meat/USDA preferred)
• Strong experience with production planning and scheduling
• Proven ability to improve efficiency and scale operations
• Experience leading teams of 80+ employees
• Hands-on leadership style in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
