Audit & Accounting Associate - Public Accounting (Hybrid)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland (Montgomery County) - hybrid, 2-3 days a week in the office

Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus up to 10% annual bonus

About the Opportunity

A well-respected, growing CPA firm in Montgomery County, Maryland is adding several Audit & Accounting Associates to its team. You'll work on accounting and audit reviews, review financial statements, prepare work papers, and build strong client relationships. The firm is known for a great culture where people genuinely enjoy coming into the office, and it treats its team to two all-expenses-paid company trips every year.

What You'll Do

• Perform accounting and audit reviews
• Review financial statements and prepare work papers
• Engage directly with clients and build lasting relationships
• Work with construction, government contracting, and for-profit clients

What You Bring

• CPA or CPA candidate
• 3-6 years of public accounting experience with construction, government contracting, or for-profit entities
• Experience with CCH Axcess software
• Confident, sharp, and personable, with strong client engagement skills

What's Offered

• $80,000 - $150,000 base salary, depending on experience
