Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate (3–5 Years Experience)

Locations: Portland, ME or Concord, NH

Overview:

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its dynamic litigation team in either Portland, Maine or Concord, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Manage discovery, including depositions and document review
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal counsel

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience managing cases and meeting deadlines independently
• Licensed to practice in Maine and/or New Hampshire (or ability to waive in)
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
