A well-established and growing law firm with offices across New England and Washington, D.C. is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate with 2–7 years of experience to join its dynamic and expanding litigation team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven attorney to work on sophisticated, high stakes matters for regional and national clients across a broad range of industries.

What You Will Do
As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will handle a broad range of matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations. You will collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality legal counsel.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an attorney who is licensed in Maine and/or New Hampshire (or eligible to waive in), with 2–7 years of commercial litigation experience and a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage cases and deadlines independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment. A judicial clerkship is a plus but not required.

This is a hybrid position based out of our renovated downtown Portland, ME headquarters, with consideration given to candidates in the Concord, NH market as well.
