2nd Shift Industrial Painter & Team Lead

Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM | 10-hour or 12-hour shift schedules available

We’re looking for an experienced 2nd shift Industrial Painter & Team Lead to join our industrial painting team supporting work in the aerospace and defense industry.

This is an opportunity for an experienced industrial painter who is ready to take the next step into a hands-on leadership role. You’ll help lead a team of four, support training and development, maintain quality standards, and keep communication strong across shifts.

If you have experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or defense-related painting and have successfully led a small team, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of paintersduring your shift.
• Perform industrial painting and related production duties.
• Train team members on painting processes, procedures, and quality expectations.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets established standards.
• Help keep production moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Communicate openly and consistently with the first-shift supervisor regarding production, quality, staffing, and any issues that arise.
• Set a strong example for teamwork, accountability, safety, and attention to detail.
• Help identify and address quality or production concerns before they become larger issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in industrial painting, preferably in automotive, aerospace, defense, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally supervising or leading a team of approximately four employees.
• Experience training employees and helping team members improve their skills.
• Experience performing quality checks or inspections.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to lead by example.

Schedule & Work Structure

• 3:30 AM – 12:00 AM shift
• Multiple scheduling options may be available, including:
• 4x10s schedule
• 4x12s schedule
• Potential weekend overtime
• 20% 2nd shift differential
