Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed according to plan and adjust as necessary to meet project goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members achieve their best performance.
- Quality Control: Oversee all aspects of project quality, from initial planning through final inspection. Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns promptly. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met. Approve expenditures and manage resources efficiently.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: Relevant project management certifications are a plus.
