Role Summary: As a Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in formulating and executing strategies that significantly increase the bank's deposits. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement effective strategies to attract new deposits and grow the existing customer base.
Build and maintain robust relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their financial needs and proposing optimal banking solutions.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and deploy targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
Represent the bank at industry events and networking gatherings, enhancing the institution's presence and reach.
Ensure all business development activities adhere to legal standards and bank policies.
Regularly report on progress and forecasts to senior management.
Candidate Profile:
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
Brings a minimum of five years of solid experience in business development, with a specific focus on banking and financial services.
Demonstrates a successful track record of increasing bank deposits and expanding client portfolios.
Possesses exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of effectively communicating with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
