Civil Litigation Defense Attorney – Fully Remote
I am partnering with a well-regarded civil litigation firm that is seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney for a fully remote position. This is an excellent opportunity for a defense-side litigator who wants meaningful file ownership, sophisticated work, and true flexibility while remaining anchored to a reputable, trial-tested team.
The firm is looking for an attorney with experience in civil litigation defense, with a strong preference for backgrounds in commercial/trucking, insurance defense, subrogation, general negligence, and/or personal injury.
Compensation is highly competitive and structured to reward performance and leadership.
What We Need
Solid civil litigation defense experience in one or more of the following:
Commercial/trucking and transportation matters
Insurance defense
Subrogation
General negligence and personal injury defense
Experience managing files from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and resolution (trial experience is a plus but not required)
Strong written advocacy skills (motions, briefs, discovery responses) and confident oral communication for hearings and depositions
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while remaining responsive to clients, colleagues, and deadlines
Licensed in MI
