Risk Advisory Services Manager

Location: Michigan - Troy; Michigan - Ann Arbor; Michigan - Detroit

Overview

a respected, growing regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Manager to lead complex engagements within a risk advisory practice (the posted duties are audit/assurance-focused).

Responsibilities

• Manage significant and complex audit engagements
• Research technical issues encountered during the audit process
• Present audit findings to client leadership
• Provide direction to, teach and mentor associates on your team
• Deliver an exceptional client experience and contribute to clients' success
• Build internal relationships that foster teamwork and collaboration
• Participate in business development and introduce other firm specialists to existing clients

Qualifications

• 6-7+ years of relevant assurance experience in public accounting or industry
• CPA license required
• Outstanding client service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for coaching others to higher levels of performance
• Commitment to continuous learning, fresh thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Unwavering integrity
