Project Manager I – Commercial Construction

Location: Southeast Michigan

URGENT HIRING NEED!

An established commercial general contractor is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee a complex, large-scale commercial renovation project in Southeast Michigan.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who thrives on daily project operations, field coordination, and managing challenging projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations on commercial projects valued at $15M–$30M+.

• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams.

• Manage complex construction logistics, quality, safety, and project timelines.

• Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and project stakeholders.

• Utilize Procore and Microsoft Project for scheduling and documentation.

• Maintain an active jobsite presence throughout Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on commercial general contracting project management experience.

• Experience managing commercial projects valued at $15M+, preferably $25M–$30M+.

• Commercial renovation, multifamily, or high-rise construction experience preferred.

• Strong budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management skills.

• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel between Southeast Michigan jobsites.

Preferred Experience:

• MSHDA, LIHTC, BABA, Section 3, or prevailing wage projects.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: Competitive

• Profit-Sharing Bonus: 10%

• Vehicle Allowance: $250/month

• Phone Stipend: $50/month
