A growing precision manufacturing team is seeking a dependable, highly skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to support its CNC department. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who enjoys complex machining work, takes ownership of programming and setups, and consistently produces high-quality parts to tight tolerances.
What You’ll Do
Interpret complex blueprints, program sheets, and work instructions.
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, machining centers, and related equipment.
Perform precision turning, milling, drilling, boring, and other machining operations.
Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
Complete machine changeovers, select tooling, and make necessary offsets or adjustments.
Run multiple machines simultaneously when production requirements allow.
Inspect and gauge parts throughout the process to ensure conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.
Maintain clean machines, tooling, work areas, and finished parts.
Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain strong, reliable attendance.
What You Bring
At least 5 years of conventional and/or CNC machining experience.
At least 3 years of CNC CAM programming experience.
Strong ability to read and interpret detailed drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Proven experience with setup, troubleshooting, inspection, and precision measurement.
Experience programming in Mastercam is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Okuma and DMG lathes or machining centers is a plus.
Multi-axis machining experience is a plus.
Vericut programming or simulation experience is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
