Our client, a leader in commercial mechanical systems, is seeking a seasoned Sr. Preconstruction Manager to spearhead budgeting, project pursuit, and stakeholder collaboration for HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and sheet metal systems.
🔧 **What You'll Do:**
- Develop detailed and conceptual budget estimates aligning with project specifications.
- Analyze drawings and project requirements to establish pricing and define scope.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to find cost-effective mechanical solutions.
- Identify value-engineering and constructability improvements.
- Drive coordination of mechanical design and integrate project teams.
- Lead sustainability initiatives aligned with LEED standards.
- Prepare bids, manage subcontractor and vendor coordination, and assess project risks.
- Conduct client presentations and contribute to strategic project pursuits.
- Lead operational project turnover and support construction phases.
- Mentor team members and promote professional growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and compliance requirements.
🎯 **Who You Are:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10+ years in preconstruction or mechanical construction.
- Deep expertise in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal.
- Skilled in design-build and design-assist methodologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
- Exceptional communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills.
🔹 **Preferred:** LEED accreditation, Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, knowledge of building automation and energy management systems.
