Personal Injury Paralegal

 

Compensation: Up to $85,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy, close-knit legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in helping clients, enjoys the details of litigation, and wants to be part of a supportive environment where their work makes a meaningful difference.

The ideal candidate will have strong personal injury litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage cases from initial intake through resolution while providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or resolution.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Request, organize, and review medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation.
  • Prepare demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
  • Monitor case deadlines, maintain accurate calendars, and ensure timely filings.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to keep cases moving efficiently.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Handle sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury litigation procedures.
  • Experience with discovery, medical records, demand packages, and settlement documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client service skills and a professional, empathetic demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
