Aircraft Maintenance Shop Foreman
Position Overview
Join an upbeat, team-oriented general aviation facility as a Shop Foreman. This role provides day-to-day floor leadership for a team of A&P technicians while performing hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a diverse aircraft fleet—ranging from classic radial engines and piston singles to modern light twins and light jets.
Key Responsibilities
Shop Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations and supervise A&P technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality craftsmanship.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform and oversee inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of general aviation aircraft.
Compliance & Quality: Maintain current working knowledge of FAA regulations, safety standards, and shop best practices.
Project Coordination: Prioritize tasks, assign workloads, and coordinate with interdepartmental teams to meet completion deadlines.
Technical Oversight: Solve complex mechanical and system issues efficiently to keep projects moving on schedule.
Required Qualifications
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
2–5+ years minimum experience in Piston General Aviation maintenance.
Valid U.S. work authorization and valid Driver’s License.
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic office computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
Experience with Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines.
Light jet maintenance experience.
Avionics systems troubleshooting and installation experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both shop and outdoor conditions.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends when required by project schedules.
