Position Overview gpac is partnering with a well-established meat processing company with multiple facilities across the Upper Midwest to hire a Production Supervisor for the Case Ready Department at their new, state-of-the-art facility in Southern Minnesota.

This is a premier start-up opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader to take ownership of the case-ready division, establish processing workflows, and build a high-performing team in a facility projected to grow.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee 1st shift operations for the Case Ready department, driving production efficiency, quality control, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with plant cross-functional leadership, including Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Sanitation, Finance, and HR.
  • Train a production team, fostering a continuous improvement culture utilizing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Monitor processing control points, equipment performance, and workflow optimization to hit plant manufacturing goals and schedules.
  • Enforce strict compliance with USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and corporate safety/quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3+ years of leadership in food plant operations as a Production Supervisor or Lead.
  • Industry Focus: Must have direct hands-on experience in high-volume food processing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Deep working knowledge of USDA, HACCP, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of team leadership, decision-making, and driving operational excellence.
