Senior Project Manager – Heavy Civil & Bridge Construction

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in bridge construction and railroad infrastructure to join our team. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to grow into a significant leadership position within the company.


Position Summary

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of 5 Project Managers, providing strategic oversight and ensuring operational excellence across multiple projects. This role requires strong experience in cost control, field operations, and stakeholder management—particularly within bridge construction and Class 1 railroad environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level project oversight across civil infrastructure projects

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5 Project Managers

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies

  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance on all job sites

  • Serve as the key point of contact with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies

  • Drive continuous improvement in cost tracking and control measures

  • Ensure efficient coordination on projects involving Class 1 railroads and bridge structures


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction management experience, with a focus on cost control

  • Strong background in bridge construction

  • Experience working in or around Class 1 railroad projects (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (preferred)

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
