We’re partnered with a well-established civil construction contractor in Missouri seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Project Management to lead operations across multiple divisions. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing project delivery, optimizing team performance, and driving operational excellence from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive oversight of all active and upcoming civil construction projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, superintendents, and support staff
Collaborate with estimating, field operations, and executive teams to develop project execution plans
Establish and refine company-wide project management processes and KPIs
Manage client relationships, contract negotiations, and risk management efforts
Forecast manpower and resource needs in alignment with strategic business goals
Champion a safety-first, team-driven culture across all job sites
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive experience in civil construction project management
Proven leadership in large-scale infrastructure, site development, or heavy civil work
Experience managing teams across multiple concurrent projects
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Proficiency with project management systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project)
