Traveling Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Location: Nationwide (Candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.) Travel: Required – Home approximately once per month

Overview

A well-established commercial general contractor headquartered in Wichita is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to join their growing team. With a strong national project backlog, this opportunity offers long-term stability and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial construction projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on assigned projects
  • Manage project schedules, subcontractors, and site safety
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Drive projects to successful, on-time completion

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Background managing projects in one or more of the following sectors:
    • Hospitality
    • Data centers
    • Multifamily
    • Commercial projects ($15M – $60M range)
  • Additional opportunities available for those experienced in:
    • Restaurants
    • Retail
    • Light commercial projects
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base compensation
  • Weekly per diem
  • $600/month vehicle allowance
  • Fuel reimbursement
  • Project completion bonus (paid within 60 days of project completion)
