Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metal Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience detailing and modeling structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and specialty fabrication projects involving miscellaneous metals. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Detail and model structural steel and miscellaneous metal components accurately
Create detailed drawings and fabrication plans for specialty metal projects
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure project specifications are met
Review and verify drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metal detailing/modeling
Proficiency in SDS2 or AdvanceSteel software preferred
Strong understanding of fabrication processes and detailing standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills
